4. Work, duties and rights of the committee:

The work, duties and rights of the committee will be as follows:-

(a) To formulate and implement plans and programs related to the development and protection of the Barah area,
(b) To protect, promote and maintain the objects and places of cultural, religious, historical, social and archeological importance related to Varaha area,
(c) To approve and implement necessary programs for the development of tourism in places suitable for tourism within the Barah area (d) Collecting and preserving manuscripts, inscriptions, copper plates and printed materials related to Varah Kshetra,
(e) To look after and protect the animals, natural resources and herbs within the Warah area,
(f) Establishing coordination between the agencies that conduct development and construction work conducted by the government, non-government and private sectors within the Barah area,
(G) To develop and expand the necessary service facilities keeping in mind the service facilities of the pilgrims coming to Barah Kshetra,
(h) To organize Gurukul, Ayurvedic schools, health centers, bridges, sewers, canals, roads, water, electricity, telephone, public toilets, dharamshalas, religious places of worship, monasteries, temples in Barahkshetra,
(i) Managing and conducting religious and cultural fairs including Kumbh Mela in Barah Kshetra (j) To make the necessary publicity to show the importance of Barah Kshetra,
(k) Prohibiting and controlling activities that should not be done in such places, taking into account the importance, character, recognition and sensitivity of any particular place within Barah area,
(l) Collecting cash, kind or any other kind of support from foreign government, national or international association, organization, agency or person for the implementation of plans and programs related to the development of Barah Kshetra,
(D) According to this order, to carry out other tasks necessary for the fulfillment of the objectives of the committee.
